If you get a real invasion, it can take a while to trap them all.
First use basic traps, they work as well as the overpriced ones.
We did find that a trap with a larger "paddle" type trigger worked better than

For many years, I have depended on cats for my mouse removal. I have
a male cat now who is a great mouser, but in the past, I always had
females. It is true that not all cats are good mousers, but I guess
I've been lucky because all of mine have been. They also have all

Some cats are good mousers while others will turn and run the other way

they see a mouse. No way to tell in advance. In general, and there are
always exceptions, A good hunter is not a good lap cat.
