O.k., as we approach the midway point of the NFL season, another 8-6 week
has edged me above .500 to 53-49 for the year. The Upset Special
continues to tread water at 3-4.
Detroit at Chicago - Who knows? Who cares? The Bears have fewer
injuries, and I think that Chandler is an improvement a
6-8 last week, Yuck.52-50 for the year. Double yuck. And, the Upset
Special falls to 4-3 after the Bills bumble and stumble their way to a loss
vs. the punchless Ravens.
Well, the Bills' season may be over, but I will keep plugging away
Arizona at Buffalo - The Cardinals are coming off
Finally did a little better last week, going 10-5, 62-54 for the year.
Thanks to the NY Giants taking the Minnesota Vikings to the house for the
second straight year, the Upset Special is a very respectable 5-3.
Washington at Detroit - With late word that rookie WR Roy Williams will be
sitting
