bad beam lengths

2003-09-22 Thread plutek
greetings, han-wen! this looks like a bug to me, but perhaps it's a "feature". :-) in the fragment attached, SOME of the 32nds near the staff top have unusually long stems. note that this does not affect 16ths, nor does it affect pairs of the SAME note. it does get somewhat better as the figure

beams over time sigs

2003-09-23 Thread plutek
han-wen - 1.9.9 is great -- emacs, 32nds, and tremolos all solved! thanks! have you given thought to the question of beams over barlines clashing with time sigs? i'm wondering if it shouldn't be default behaviour for such beams to be split on either side of the time sig (with "hanging" ends as th

EMACS still not ok

2003-09-23 Thread plutek
i'm still having some problems with EMACS indentation after upgrading to 1.9.9. mostly it seems ok now, but the following code is still behaving strangely: \time 2/4 r4 d16\< f c' a % p3 \time 8/4 d,[ f c'8 a] < d, g, >[ < f b, > c'16 a]\! ~ a1 ~ a4 \time 6/4 r4 a16[\> c < f, b, >8 < d g, >] a'[ c

ok a bit of experimenting has led to this: EMACS is happy with < notes >-] or < notes > ] but not < notes >] lily seems to be happy with all three, so for now i guess i'll just add the space or dash (but it's always nice to reduce keystrokes.) -p

no EMACS mode with v2

2003-09-24 Thread plutek
i've installed the RH package of v2 and now have no lilypond mode in emacs. shouldn't this happen automatically, as it did in previous versions? -p ___ Bug-lilypond mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-lilypond
