damn - you guys really don't like windows ;) seems like you got a self
destruction mode built in for this operating system. just tried to
upgrade one of my apps with the "upgrade shell".
maybe I better use a virtual machine and linux^^

1.2 and 1.3 forever, despite any other maintenance release plans.

We will release new version with bug fixes and any security exploits for a long
time. Our 1.2 version of code still has these type of releases. No features
will be added to 1.3 and below.
You might want to look at the migration guide and upgrade shells that are
provided. I suggest upgrading to

How long with cake 1.3* be supported? We've just spent a significant
amount of time writing an application in 1.3* and would be gutted to
find out if we have to port to 2.0 already.

- A Sexier default look taking advantage of new CSS 3 features.
To be honest the default baked views were horrible.
