Ron, I think your "Loop Di Doo" figure is a lot like something that occurs in some versions of the traditional (not modern western) square dance "Forward Six" (a/k/a "Right Hand High, Left Hand Low" or "Right Lady Over, Left Lady Under" ...). See for example these videos: http://www.youtube
