Thanks for the numerous varieties that have been posted!
Any ID at this point on the (very possibly folk-processed...) specific

exactly as danced at Flurry '17.)

Back in 1994, Ted Sannella used a very similar version of this 5 couple

progression in the B part is the same. Ted told us he picked up the dance
in Denmark from a Danish caller, Inga Morton. Ted simply called it "A

Hi,
I picked up this dance at Flurry '17. Iirc, the caller (I think it was Bob
Isaacs, not sure, it was near the end of the festival, it's all kinda
fuzzy...) said he picked it up at another festival and didn't know the name
of it. He named the caller that he got it from - but I don't remember

Hi All,
I collected a dance from Lisa Greenleaf. Neither she nor the person
from whom she collected it knows the author. I'm hoping you can help
me. Here it is:
Holiday Daze
Becket
A1 Cir L 3/4, pass through
New neighbor swing
A2 Long lines F
Ladies chain
B1 Left diag. hey for 4
B2 (original)
This has the feel of Rockin' Robin by Rick Mohr, with big changes in
the A2 and B1. Perhaps it is one of Rick's dances?

Hi Dale and Linda,
On Seth's description of ContraQuad on his web page has
B1 on the left diagonal. Also the long name for the dance is
Pam and Lalah and Bruce and Seth's Reel.
Cheers, Bill
Sugar Hill euphoria is a very good explanation! Happy to help...

The dance is a double progression. The first neighbor couple dance by
in the diagonal 1/2 hey; this is the only dancing that is done with
them. The second couple is then found in the completion of the hey
across the set. One hint to double progressions is not having a couple

I just learned a great contra that has great flow. I'd like to know
if anyone knows the title or composer:
A1 gypsy neighbor, mad robin.
A2 one half pousett, hey (about 3/4 hey) men pass left.
B1 swing partner
B2 ladies chain, star left.

A2 Long Waves Balance, Gents Cross, P Sw

It's kinda like Whoosh by Becky Hill and Sleepless at Pinewoods by
Bob Isaacs, but it's not either of them.

Looks like one of the dances we did in a set of dances at NEFFA last
year where each dance contained 3 swings. Where is Moondance held
anyway?

The name of that dance is "Roadkill" by Cary Ravitz. It's a really fun
dance to do, even if it falls apart like the one time that I actually danced
it.
