Hey All; I wanted to ask if any developers on this list have ever worked with an old HIS from Orascom. I think it is called Maxc. No one at the hospital could use a UNIX system, so they knew 0% about their HIS. They only knew it doesn't work most of the time. it was installed in 1990 or so.

Regarding the business model, I met a consultant form Australia who had a project with the same hospital I have a project with. He did not take a fee from the hospital, but he chose to take anonymous patient data for use in reports generating and stuff like that. This might be a bit far fetche
