What I am not saying is follow what weberp/EdgeERP does because it's the

I think Claudio is saying you cannot use php5 currently with Care2x v2.4 rc1
or any other currently available version. I believe he meant 02/2008 will
be the alpha release of the 3rd generation of Care2x (e.g. v3.0) using
seagull that will be able to use php5.

I believe you can if you run two separate apaches on the same server at the
same time and configure them for different ports. Use php4 on one and php5
on the other. Each apache must be self-contained under its own directory.

I would suggest using simple functions in all. A vehicle such as xml, hl7, etc. is only a vehicle. They have nothing to do with the logic so why complicate matters.

less efficient ways to construct queries and which to use can sometimes be influenced by the number of records. Sometimes a single more complicated query is less efficient or unusable while extracting part of the query and using it in a separate query works great.

not forced to commit to a particular ERP, offers the least impact and is not saddled with somehow keeping up with integrating upgrades...good luck with that!
Interfacing is a much bigger challenge than integrating, however, when done right it offers the greatest ongoing flexibility and the leas
re we need to get to.
If someone can somehow get us the latest development version of PM obviously that would also be great ;)

On the Care2x website, on the front page is listed prominently practice management as well as there being an entire section devoted to practice management with a link to a demo. The demo is not found when you click on the link.

without being able to see what's there, we have no way to gauge anything. It leaves us in a bad state, as far as Care2x is concerned, in getting investment and interest to further it.
