(May 2) in the field bordered by Snyder and Cherry Rd. north of the airport.
Hard to believe, these were taken handheld, manually focusing, and without an
external flash! Such an awesome bird and one of my

I happened to be in Endicott earlier this evening and decided to stop by the
marsh to try to see the yellow-headed blackbird again (after being unsuccessful
at trying to find it on Sunday afternoon). When I arrived, Jeff Gerbracht and
kids had already done a great job of locating it. Great cle

Earlier this week I was privy to a flotilla of Mallard ducklings making their
way along the edge of the little pond that's south of the parking area off of
Lake Road. Yesterday, I came across two different sets of goslings being herded
by parents (total of about 16. Today, there were many turtle

wetland there. Pretty nice habitat. In addition to the birds I heard two Gray
Tree frogs and several trilling American Toads.
Also stopped by Goetchius Wetland this morning. Quite a few Yellow Warblers

Hi everyone,
I know that everyone's exuberantly welcoming the return of all of the spring
migrant species this week, but has anyone else noticed Red-breasted Nuthatches
in places where they normally are not? I'm asking because I did a long walk
through Sapsucker Woods this morning on my way
