I saw three Common Mergansers winging away to west a few minutes ago. Just now a Coopers Hawk flew over my head over my office window! During Lunch walk there were lots of Juncos in the alders and goldenrods along the Beebe lake shore, but the lake itself was devoid of any birds. Cheers Meena
