We heard from a friend that the Eastern Screech-Owl was back in the tree behind the Dandy Mart on Rt. 79 in Slaterville Springs yesterday. She spotted it at 4:30 pm. For a couple of years an owl has roosted in a cavity in a tree at the edge of the pavement behind the gas station/store. You
