Late this morning there were 5 Common Loons on Cayuga Lake visible from the
Allan H Treman State Marine Park as I scoped northward from the shore. The sky
was cloudy, but the air temperature must’ve been close to the water
temperature, because there was so little shimmer, and I had a good view b

So far winds like that have not produced much. There really haven't been
any good winds yet. The forecast for here shows Monday has a good chance
with strong W NW wind. Fingers crossed! It's getting late in their season
but nothing certain anymore.
