On my way in to work this morning, I encountered a Bohemian Waxwing with a
small flock of Cedar Waxwings at the base of the boardwalk leading to the
Sherwood Platform in Sapsucker Woods (for more information see this eBird

Posting for Kyle Wright who around 8 a.m. had a flock of 20 Bohemian Waxwings
traveling with 15 Cedars in vicinity of the horse barn on Yenny Road. Birds
presently not being seen: 9:15 am, Xmas Sunday, 12/22. But, hopefully are
still nearby.
Yenny Rd is off Makyes Road which is off Seneca
SFO group 5 had great looks at 3 Bohemian Waxwings at the Edwards Cliff
Preserve at the end of Teeter Rd. These particular birds were perched
openly just inside the preserve to the south of the open area near the
entrance. There was a flock of approximately 75 waxwings while we were in
the preser

the trees along the road just west of the Northwood Apts. off Warren Road. The
trees are on the north side of the road on the border of the overgrown field
that used to be a public pool many decades ago.

Flock of Bohemian Waxwings -- about a dozen birds, as far as I could see -- in
some berry-bearing trees on the north Wilson Trail. Very cooperative (not to
mention beautiful)! I was there at around 4 PM.

The flock of ~80 Bohemian Waxwings on Drake road has moved back into the woods
on private property. They may reappear along the road at some point but they're
not visible now.

I just saw (about 7 pm April 4th) 9 Bohemian Waxwings hanging out in the
top of a white ash tree on Eastman Hill. I didn't see any cedar waxwings
with them.

Walking into the building a few moments ago I had a flock of at least 8
BOHEMIAN WAXWINGS sitting in the trees north of the Lab building, just east of
the feeders, along the edge of the service drive.
They called, flew off over the building, circled back overhead, and then I lost

As I was leaving work I had the BOHEMIAN WAXWING outside the lobby at the
Lab. The flock of ~10
waxwings shortly flew off to the east with 3 Cedars circling back and
landing. Perhaps it'll still be around

Hi,
As I was walking in today I heard and then saw a BOHEMIAN WAXWING above the
north feeders with a small group of six Cedar Waxwings. I pounded on Tom
Schulenberg's window but shortly after he was able to see the bird the bird
flew away with the rest of the waxwings across the pond. Hopefully
Tim Lenz just pointed out a Bohemian Waxwing in a small flock of Cedars,
perched in a tree on the north side of the Lab. I dashed back to my office
to try to spot it from my window, flock was gone when I got there. But keep
eyes (and ears) open.
