I talked to Reuben again today. He said that yesterday’s Broad-winged Hawk migration path shifted eastward during the day. Reuben also heard from another Amish farmer/birder, Adam Troyer in Candor NY, who counted these raptors migrating past his place yesterday: 774 Broad-winged Hawks 12

Reuben Stoltzfus was cutting hay on his farm in Ovid today, where he has a great view to the west toward Seneca Lake. Between 11am and 11:30am he saw 500 Broad-winged Hawks migrating past on a series of at least 4 thermals. Later on he saw more migrating Broad-winged Hawks totalling an
