Mark,

Registry Files?
Which parts/keys do i have to alter in the registry for multiple instances of
IP-Blue? Do i have to delete the altered keys, when i shutdown the softphones?
Do i have to alter the registry keys every
Not an answer to Robert's question. I couldn't get the registry version
workin but have no problems loading several phones using Load/Save Profile.
Anyone have any comment on the pros/cons of the two methods

Hey Robert,
I was going to send you a zip file with the .Reg files - but then
realized there was WAY to much stuff to customize from my files and my
specific system.
Instead here is what you do.
Open IPBlue - get it registered to one particular phone that you need.
Then while it is
Cons are that Audio streams may be messed up (e.g. that the ports may
get crossed - sometimes you will think audio is coming from the right
IP/Port - but its not). Profiles were created by IPBlue for the reason
of someone using one instance - but needing to switch between PBX
I've been using the registry method for a while and it works great. This is
where I learned that this was possible -

.
All you need to do is double-click on the registry file for the MAC and IP
address (CCM/CME) you
No Joy, I had that config but tried it again after restarting the lot.

Well maybe I did write it wrong. I don't loose ipma config, but I have
to restart tomcat to get it working again.

Thanks Mark, I probably haven't noticed as I try not to talk to myself for
too long when running a test lab. However well worth knowing, could be a
real time waster otherwise,

Just wanted to let everyone know. I sat an attempt at RTP in April and
had a bad 6608 blade from the start. The proctor informed me to just
complete what I could and I would get the points for the rest. That
statement really never came to fruition but I will say this after about
2 weeks of calls
Is the Uses Shared Lines option unchecked?
Automatic Configuration, Mobile Manager and Uses Shared Lines options
must be unchecked in the manager user configuration page, before going to
ipma assistant page.

Indeed it is, thanks.
Solved the problem by using the browser on the Pub / sub as opposed to my
local one. One for me to remember.
Thanks for your assistance Ricardo and Vik.

On my first attempt at the lab exam in RTP in March of 2008, I was having
problems getting the 6608 ports to get an IP address from the DHCP server,
and I disabled the ports I was working with and then tried to re-enable
them. When I tried to re-enable them, the switch returned an error message
Mark, Michael,
thanks a lot!

As a note I had several people look at this inside Cisco as well and could
never find a solution. We had several ports going out on the 6500's for a
while and took me a while to figure out as well. We even replaced the 6608
module at times and the port would give the same error with a new module
That gets my vote for best piece of advice this century.
Finally we no longer need to be scared of a poxy 6608 blade.
That is some great troubleshooting, you should be in TAC or playing chess.

I have taken the exam three times, once in RTP and twice in SJ.
My advice is not to worry about whether there is a difference in the test
questions, the documentation that is available, the speed of the servers,
whether the hardware is more likely to be broken or flaky one place or the
other,
Hello All
I am trying to configure IPMA and ICD on the same phone, but when I
associate both services to phone and try to consult services button I
don't get anything in phone screen. I did change port 8009-8010 on
server.MCVD.xml on CM server but it didn't solve the issue, I did reboot

I have had this working without much issue in the past but right now I
want to KILL this thing. Any ideas. It's only been a short time since I
last configured it but I have the GATEWAY setup with redirect inbound
and outbound. And have the following on my router. No matter what I do
