Thanks Ryan for confirming my config works.
I found it helpful to think this way:
--inbound DP with "cor incoming" == key
--inbound DP without "cor incoming" == master key
--outbound DP with "cor outgoing" == locked door
--outbound DP without "cor outgoing" == unlocked door

you need a pair to work incoming and outgoing. if either incoming or outgoing
corlist is missing, call is allowed. it can be any name. you can even name it
as a and b.
put a in incoming corlist and b in outgoing corlist.
outgoing is the your lock. you are locking the dial-p or dn. incoming cor i
yup.. thank you very much alex. I just validated it.
Need to read up on why you need the PSTN corlist since it really isnt doing
anything.

Anil,
I have a friend that is running into the same issue. He thinks it is
working as designed. From CM to GK to CME with bandwidth limited to 16k
call works great.

default CME will try to negotiate the call to the G

good catch... what is the reason behind needing it on the inbound. I don't
really see the cor list for incoming on the inbound dial-peer doing anything
really.

Anyway to allow call blocking on a particular DN if you have an H323 Gateway
in regular and SRST mode.
For example... 2001 should be allowed to accept calls during normal mode but
call reject in failover mode?
thanks.

Hi Vik,
Appreciate your kind response. I do have "only the GK controlled trunk and that
the CME is not added as an H323 gateway". Also the trunk is in GK DP which has
in G729 region within and with other regions please.

Anil,
Can you ensure that you have only the GK controlled trunk and that the CME
is not added as an H323 gateway. If this is added as an H323 gateway then
these settings are used (including the Device Pool).
Can you also confirm the Device Pool setting of the H323 trunk.

Hey Group,
Just checking if anyone else faced this issue and were able to resolve please.
I did reboot the server and it fixed and like someone else on thie email thread
mentioned he did shut and no shut on gatekeeper that worked. So NOT sure what
is the real cause.

Nick,
First of all, best wishes for 2009
second, you`d might try to mount an iso for installation, or just use the
dvd ofcourse.
if this still fails, just try my scenario for creating the vm with w2k3 os,
and then install from a mounted iso in vm.
This must work, i have done this several times ov

Hi all,
found my answer in the SRND: for HW MTP you need NM-HDV2 or 6608, NM-HDV is
