I know that's required for MOH from flashbut I wasn't aware that it's
required when the caller is getting it direct from the MOH server.
However, it won't hurt having it in there.
Regarding IGMP snooping, this is something that the ESW uses to determine if

Update:
I found adding "No MGCP timer receive-rtcp" is needed to allow the MGCP GW
to keep the call active.
Apparently, if the GW doesn't receive rtcp traffic within 30 seconds, it
disconnects the call assuming it's a hung resource/call.

I forgot to put PIM on the HQ router interface facing my CCM servers.
Multicast MOH is now working with g.711 or g.729 depending on the Region

I still have the problem where the PSTN call is disconnected after approx 50

Hi Cristi

Glad you found it.
Please send me a private email with the "wrong path" so I can have that
removed if it is there and confusing folks. Don't take time from your rack
session to do it, maybe after you are done.
thanks

When I follow either of the "incorrect" links to the forms, I can fill
out the form, but the submit button is missing. Real Nice Website!

Once you log into proctor lab session, on the right hand side you will
see a option to contact after hours support. You will need to submit the
online form in there and someone will hopefully get back to you via
email shortly

Hi Group,
V3, Lab 3A, Q3.5: I was trying to register my home 7961 SIP phone to BR2, but
the phone is keep saying upgrading, then reset and repeat, got stuck in a loop.
Here are my questions:
1) Is it because some of the phone loads files are missing from the
PHONE/7941-7961 directory?

Ok. Check the following:
1. Do you have either: a. Transcoders configured on both ends/assigned to
appropriate MRG/MRGLs and applied to devices/gateways

Do you have g.729 support enabled under the service parameters?
2. Do you have locations CAC or regions setups that might be blocking
Actually, you might be able to do it if it is on CME.
Assign button 2 as an overlay, and put the mailbox number DN on the overlay
ephone-dn. It should be hard forwarded so it will never ring, but I bet that
would make the envelope appear the way being discussed.

Thanks so much. That did the trick.
CME now works as PSTN hub accepting inbound calls.

Sorry, was a typo when I was configuring. Actually, I did set up:

Hi Sergio,
Are you sure? I was sure MWI doesn't work with overlay lines.
I tested it once again right now, after your answer, and it seems to me that it
doesn't work.
If you have 2 ephone-dn (e.g 5,6 in your example) it will send MWI/Envelope
only to first defined extension(e.g.5);
If you have o
Yeah! Its really depend on the requirements.
In this case for e.g. the System Message will be override by "2:Forward to VM"

I guess it should be ,
ephone-dn 6
number 3100 (GDN)
label Support 2
call-forward all VM
Sine u call GDM directly or u call other numbers then if they have
noan set then they would forward to GDM (3100)
Just my thoughts here though! :)

Hi,
It's a normal behavior. It's default value for check frequency.
Pleasee see below. You can change this in "Advanced Settings".

I think this is not possible. With "secondary number" or "overlay" it will not
work.
