That is a excellent question and one that is certainly a challenge for most I
believe (with exceptions). I got burnt out about a month ago it just in time
for a my brother's planned vacation, so I unplugged for a few days. I can
contribute most of the burnout, as others have already metioned,
Google search works better than Cisco search most of the time :( Searched for
srst 7.0 max phones. First document.
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cusrst/requirements/guide/srs43spc.html
These are the current counts for SRST / CME 7.0 which hace changed since
previous versions.
All,
I've been trying to find a handy matrix that specifies the max ephones for
an SRST or CUCME install based on the model of the router. Does anyone have
an idea where this can be found?
I checked the CUCME SRND and searched Cisco but couldn't come across
anything.
Thanks!

Was the Gk-trunk object supposed to be configured for RSVP? PG has it in
g729-only DP and Hub_None and no mention of assigning RSVP to the g729-only DP

CSS on GW object has access to 1001 DN partiton?
Nothing under Unassigned DN that is messing things up?
Reset GW object in CCM (don't think that does anything anyways) then no mgcp /

One thing to remember is that with Extension Mobility, it's really the LINE
that you take over. The device (and associated device CSS, device pool (a
la local route group) ) is still the same device it was when you sat in
front of it.
That being said, the device specific settings are the sam

I manage it the same way I got through college. Maybe that was good prep except
most of the subjects were much more boring. Also spent a good number of years

Try "format flash" instead of "erase flash" to get it to DOS format. See if

Oh one last add on,
I am using Line Device approach now, where I do my restrictions on the Line
and my patterns to the gateway in the Device partitions.
I guess I am confused on how to handle the device partition with Mobility
and LRG.. with Extension Mobility ontop of all that.

Unless they're physically bringing the phone from SD to NY then I dont
think they would need device mobility, the calls would just use the device
pool/local route group assigned to that NY phone

1. Device Mobility kicks in, sees that the phone is in NYC and applies
the NYC device pool to the LRG...
2. You would create a new RL called 212RL, with NYC as first RG, and
then SLRG as second.

Guys,
I am trying to wrap my head around the local route list concept. I know it
in effect decouples the route list from the route group. I have
successfully configured it in my lab here at home with two sites ( simulated

Joel,
Don't schedule the lab attempt until you're ready - push your December
