I was just testing in my lab. I also see that the router is sourcing music on 239.1.1.3 when I do a show IP mroute, however I just hear silence. I also believe Mark Snow indicates on VOD you can tftp g729 music file from UCM to router flash and use that.Not sure how to locate the file

In this case, there were region limitations which forced me to provide MOH for PSTN users, but the actual gateway was remote to the site, because there were no local PRIs. Therefore, to save bandwidth, G729 was used for the VoIP leg to the H323 gateway. Agreed, normally if the gateway were local

Jean, Are you using Proctor Labs or your own lab? The PSTN router should take care of the calling number type. You should also make sure you don't have any translation patterns on the BR2 gateway that would modify the type. Also check your H323 gateway to ensure the same thing. - Sent from my

That's correct. When the call is delivered to the HQ gateway it is seen as national from the perspective of the terminating ISDN. From the standpoint of HQ, the 212 is national type. If it was a local PRI from a local LEC, I might expect a subscriber type, but itd be most common to receive a
