Remove $ from dial-peer 7. It'll wait for inter-digit timeout and match
dial-peer 9 after you press the last digit.
Let me know if that works.

Hi Erwan,
Do you have any voice translation-profile applied to the voice-port? If you
have, remove it and try.

Hi Experts,
I am trying to configure so that calling phone will show 7 digit "To 8884343
" in SRST and Normal mode.
I use dial-peer 7 pots in normal mode (send 8884343 from Route Pattern to BR-1
GW)
RP Local : 9.[2-9]xx , predot , send to BR-1 (H323) , hit dial-peer 7

Symptom:
7936 phones fail to upgrade to a different load when upgrade is
attempted immediately after re-registration to CCM
Looking for confirmation on calculating the number of conference directory
numbers needed on cme, for either addhoc or meetme as I do not have enough
phones to test myself.
My logic would be to take the Maximum Sessions X the Maximum Conference-Parties

In the dhcp, update the option 66 or 150 to CUCM tftp.

I had the same issue in the past. I was able to update the firmware using a
CME box, but Call Manager never worked. Ended up doing a RMA for three 7936’s
with this issue so that they would boot and register with the Call Manager. It
was basically a bug with the 7936 being at an older firmware

Thanks for that both of you.
I have done everything and more what you guys have mentioned below.
One strange thing is that I am not seeing any TFTP requests from the phone at
the gateway/switch when it reboots.
I just want to upgrade firmware without using call manager.
One more
If you have put a newer image on the cucm server make sure you have restarted
the tftp service. The server will not recognize new files until the service has
restarted.

Hi Graham,
I had already tried unsolicted but tried it again and am seeing the same
error message in the debug from the CME:
*Mar 2 21:22:12.928: //-1//SIP/Msg/ccsipDisplayMsg:
Received:
NOTIFY sip:3...@10.10.202.1 SIP/2.0
From: sip:3...@10.10.210.13:5060;tag=93204e73cf344117b95ca3d
Graham,
I have tried both modes.
I have tested again with unsolicted with debug ccsip messages on and am
seeing the same thing:
*Mar 2 21:22:12.928: //-1//SIP/Msg/ccsipDisplayMsg:
Received:

I think you answered your own question in a way.
You say you want to setup a 'test' environment, and tie it to your 'production'
system. That alone is a bad practice.
Don't learn the hard way how bad it can get when you integrate 'test' systems
into your production environment.
Just my 2 c
I know you may made this before, but:
1. make a factory reset to the 7936 (look for the required sequence from the
phone manual)
2. make sure that the DHCP server give the correct TFTP server IP address
3. try to Manually set the TFTP IP address to the 7936

Shady.

Hello,
I am trying to make one 7936 conference phone for a customer to register
with call manager.
No matter what I do, it is not getting registered. It says ' TFTP server not
found'.
I can ping the IP address of the phone from Call manager and from phone I
can ping rest of the network. All
try the unsolicited keyword on the mwi-server command line, without it the UCME
must subscribe to the MWI service

Hi all,
I have an issue with MWI between Unity connection and UCME.
It appears that the UCME is sending back an error after the MWI notify
message from the UC:

Hi,
I am just wondering why DHCP for Home Phones is done on my Router.
Wouldn't be better to do DHCP for Home Phones on Sub/Pub or HQ-RTR according to
the active LAB Scenario?
I am using this Config for my Router:
