I purchased the OWLE for the previous CCIE version unfortunately I did not
pass. Does that make me a member? How do we do to get access to the Next
Generation? I am not actively preparing for the lab but I hope to keep
reading and helping the group if possible.

I'm looking forward to the Next Generation!
In the meantime, could you please tell me when will the Collaboration
workbooks be released? There was a post on the 14th of May about Andy
writing a blog about the ETA's the next day, but since then there're no
news.

Yes - I can tell you! :-)
Andy will have all of the technology labs written and the beta testing will be
done the second week of June. These are the ACTUAL labs he used when studying
(and passing) the lab.

Somewhere I read that you're going to do some prerelease of parts of the
workbooks when they're done. So do I understand it clearly that it's not
going to happen, but you'll release the workbooks complete on the second
week of June?
