I have question regarding integration CUPS server with LDAP (AD), is it
necessary to have the CUCM also integrated with LDAP (AD)?
Also can I use CUCM as LDAP? if yes will the directory search work? and can I
add users?
Am trying to find a way so that I don’t want to integrate CUCM
Hello Nizar,
CUP Server use an AXL Application User to get the list of the user from the
CUCM. So there is no need to synchronise with an LDAP :-)

through LDAP on CUPC and having CUCM LDAP integrated. We can still achieve
availability and phone presence when the LDAP userid matches the CUCM
