Hello All,
I have 2 gateways one H323 GW (HQ) and one MGCP GW (BR1).
For 911 calls, I made the calling party transformation pattern as use
Device pool calling party transformation pattern CSS where I masked the
calling number as 7 Digits.
For Local calls, I created 2 RP one for BR1 and other
thanks - I was glad to read about what I overlooked at first glance...
But the explanation is not correct I'm afraid: Calls from UCME drop of at
the HQ gw (teho). The calling number sent out by the IOS for this teho
call is also 10digit 3432143002 (like a teho call from BR1 going out over
the HQ
That is because of IOS.
IOS detects the US Dialplan, and sets the Types accordingly in H323
gateway.
It is not possible to disable that feature. So you have to use voice
translation rules to change the ANI Type.

Hi
Hello Experts,
How do I set up a Calling Party Transformation in DP to trap any devices
that did not have any caller ID assigned and assign them to a general
number? How do I assign pattern to match null caller ID in the calling
party transformation?
Thank you,
Bo
Randall,
;)
Shrini,

Shrini,
I was trying to give you a hint without giving you the actual answer. You
almost had it yourself.
On the CCIE journey, you have to learn a lot on your own. For example, if
you want to know more about such setting, you could have stayed on the phone
configuration page, then click on Help
Thanks Randall /
Miron,
It was under Device Mobility Related
Information , so confused. Also tried once.
Finally worked after resetting the DP, then I slept.
Now the day just started :-)

In the gateway I see there is a check box Use device pool calling party
transformation.
Can someone explain where should I set this Calling party transformation
so that it will affect all the phones in that pool.
CSS_XFORM for incoming calls under device setting is what I got and is
working,
Hhhhmmm I wonder where would you configure settings that will apply to
users device pool wide.

Hi,
I think you need to apply calling Transforamtion to UC HP or simply to
Device Pool

As stated is proctor lab guide 5c, task 5.4, pdf page 204 and what
actually happens for ucm 7.0(1), is that the calling party
transformation pattern matching is based on the calling number at the
point the route pattern match takes place,
However, the ucm's srnd states that calling party
