[ceph-users] performance issue with jewel on ubuntu xenial (kernel)

I wanted to confirm that I also find that Ceph Jewel (10.2.0) on Xenial feels considerably slower than Ceph Infernals (9.2.0) felt on Trusty. I used to regularly sustain reads/writes of 90 MB/s from my desktop to my Ceph cluster, and now normally sustain 50 MB/s, maybe spiking to 85 MB/s. The clust

Hi Florian, All the benchmarks were run on strictly identical hardware setups per node. Clusters differ slightly in sizes (infernalis vs jewel) but nodes and OSDs are identical. Best regards, Sofiane On 23.06.16 06:25, "ceph-users on behalf of Florian Haas" wrote: >On Wed, Jun 22, 2016 at 10
