I tried the Remote Desktop, but didn't care for it. I didn't like being constrained to 8-bit color and only 1 user at a time. With VNC, I like the fact that I can start an Winamp session and it will play through my desktop system upstairs, especially since it's hooked up to a killer stereo.

The family used to cook for Thanksgiving. Not any more. Clean up the house, cook all day long, then clean up the house again. Now, we go out for Thanksgiving dinner... ;-). No cleaning or cooking involved. Plus cheaper.. 10 people at $150 total compared to the money spent at the store buy
