Exactly. When we first moved up here we hired a moving company to take our stuff from Blacksburg, VA to northern Virginia. The movers definitely complained about the books, but were really great about putting them into library at the (then) new place. I had all ready moved most of them, coming back

What's your primary video card? I had some problems with various TV cards (I've had many, including the ATI but currently use a WinFast Studio XP) due to my dual monitor set up (with a Matrox Parhelia). The primary issue is that, depending on software, you may experience problems opening the TV w

We're at 2500+ and growing (80% hardcovers) ... And the movers weren't particularly thrilled with hauling them either. At least we didn't make them carry them upstairs into the library when we moved into this place ... I, however, hate packing books ... But love reading them and looking at them! :

Yeah, I was thinking it was the same as using GIF. The actual software to create a GIF needs to be licensed, but you don't need to pay anything to use a GIF. But since I don't know much about the MP3 licensing, I can't be certain. -Kevin - Original Message - From: "Ben Doom" <[EMAIL PROT

I would too, for a few extra dollars a month and a business license my cable provider will crank up my bandwidth and give me a permanent ip address. I am thinking about doing that. I am wondering how hard the software configuration is. Also there is the question of royalties, which I have not had t

Anyone here have the AI TV Wonder Pro and have software issues? Everytime I install and then try to run crap, I get an error saying the Multimedia Cetner wasn't installed (even though it obviously was). I've googled, but mainly found people echoing my issue w/o real solutions. [Todays Threads] [

My understanding is that commercial applications which encode or decode MP3 files are *supposed* to be licensed.  I think they really only police high-volume users, like MusicMatch etc. For Flash, it shouldn't be an issue, since the decoder is in the Flash Player, which is licenced.  In other w

From what I read, you need a pretty powerful server to handle all the connections. There is also the bandwidth issue. I would still like to try and run a small one though. Harkins, Patrick wrote: > How hard is it to set up your own server? > -Pat > > -Original Message- > From: Phillip B
