I think all of Tae Kwon Do is a scam in the fact that it makes you think you can defend yourself on the street. I have not seen a fighter trained in Tae Kwon Do compete in any of the cage fighting circuits, cage fighting which for the most part (minus the rules) mimics what will happen if you do

Just a quick "I second what Scott says". When i was in high school I went to an ATA school, and the big selling point was "we'll have you a black belt in a year". Some of the instructors were good...don't get me wrong...but the overall mindset was not necessarily to make sure the students were go

Denny, I surfed the single-dads.us site. It's a great thing that your son is involved in Taekwondo, but please take him out of the ATA school and get him into either an ITF or WTF school (I'd advise a WTF school). He'll thank you for it if he ever has to put the techniques that he learns to actua
