FWIW I wanted to add that this is an excellent choice. The retina
display is AMAZING and if you are using it as your main then I would
go with it.
After using my wife's 11in MacBook Air my 15 inch MBP feels like I'm
lugging around the titanic. The 17 in is just a little too big to want

Excellent stuff guys! Thank you! Sounds like direct from Apple, 15, retina
is the way I'll go. Ill sleep on 17 for a few weeks... It's taken me 2
years to finally get to this point, another few weeks of debating can't
hurt... Lol!
The RAM is a huge factor for me as well, and didn't realise the ol

It's not that rare at all. We were just examining one type of fraud. The
most common is absentee ballot abuse.

Yeah...I am planning on upgrading my mobo and processor so I can stack some
more memory in...when I do, I am planning on getting an SSD for the OS
drive...maybe another for my games and other high end apps...

I'd say forget biggest. Get SSD definitely and use the tiny external
storage drives if you need more storage.
The SSD is a game changer on any computer coming from standard HDD platters.
It is a tremendous productivity and quality of life boost. tremendous.

Makes me ill that the United States and Britain would go to such lengths.
Such lengths to silence and punish a man who has never even been charged
with a crime.

Thanks Larry. I suspect I'd need a bigger laptop bag as well for the 17,
and I kinda like the one I have. Good to know an opinion from someone
that's played with both. We're 2 hours away from the nearest Apple store so
haven't been able to do in person comparisons.

i've used the mac 15 and played with the 17 inch model. I found the
extra screen space of the 17 inch didn't justify the price or the
added weight. The 15 inch MacBookPro performed as well, and was much
lighter. If you need the larger monitor, there's always external ones.

Yups!! I just signed up myself. My Adobe apps were all 3 versions behind,
and I constantly use them, and since I get a student discount, I made the

on your internet speed and I guess computing power to install the apps,
