Uh, then why is he getting trounced? Missouri has swung red in last 10
years or so, and any candidate who can generate a run-of-the-mill
conservative campaign would have a good chance at getting elected. Akin
can't do that, because he's batshit crazy...so he's going to lose.

My wife and I are investigating upgrading our HVAC system.
Currently, we have two zone heat/ac - currently a heat pump services
upstairs, AC gas furnace service the main floor and basement. One
option being presented to us is to install a 'hybrid' system for the
main floor. Basically, it uses

We just installed a new heat pump and furnace in hour house (the old
one was about to give out) in June. Can't really comment about price
etc, but we've been satisfied with it so far.
But ouch propane, any way you could go electric or if there's a
natural gas line nearby go with that?
On Mon,
No way to get natural gas, unfortunately.

yeah, it's tightened up...scary that it's that close. He's still gonna lose

The house we bought a few years ago has a heat pump/furnace hybrid thing
going on. On some of the colder days, when it's using the heat pump, it
doesn't feel quite as warm.but that's the trade off you make ( you
aren't going to be able to get the same level comfort for the same price ).

Yea...that is what we have been told - and even if we do not get the
hybrid, the new furnace is more efficient than what we have (much more
efficient)

Have you looked into Solar Thermal as well?
And note that propane contains over twice the usable energy content per
cubic foot. When you upgrade you might find
Have not looked into thermal because HOA has rules against it (which a
few families are fighting to get changed).
Even looked into geo-tehrmal, but the installation costs are a lot
more than we can afford at this time.
Even if we don;t go with the 'hybrid' solution, the furnace we are

The hybrids are nice. I had one in the former house it worked out very
well. I have no furnace in the current house. Temps here rarely drop
below 40, so I just use a Dyson bladeless in my bedroom at night in case I
get chilly. It heats the room from chilly to toasty in about five minutes.

Be a man and run your own Cat 5 cable across the house into the TV room!

doesn't the ps3 have wireless? if so its obvious, hook up the wireless
router and the ps3 hooks up to the internet via wireless. As for the
directTV system I think you may need a cable splitter and run a
separate line into the room with the directTV system.
