2600 is a real nice card. You don't need an extra soundcard as it has one built in and hooked directly to the HDMI connector, which is really a DVI connecter with an adapter for that card. HD on homebrew HTPC's is a mess right now. All sorts of issues. Check Hauppauge's website for current capture cards.
