One issue that I ran into, that I don't think anyone has ever mentioned,
is that of "record" length.
I ran into a situation where my reindexing of a database failed with
some weird verity error on every row attempting to be added (verity
does product a log file , you just have to go look for it).
Now, if there was something really cheap like this for VStudio etc... 8^)

This is pretty amazing value for dev work. Espc if you want to create
a clone server for use, W2kAS is included in this as well! And, MSOffice,
Visio? Double wow. All for $300/yr.
So I will be partially borged after all. I just can't give up that
Oracle thing...
Thanks for the tip

Interesting time downloading this puppy. I tried downloading on the 4th
and decided the transfer rates via the various sites were going to be
too slow. So last nite I tried thru my cable modem to the nvidia site.
First time EVER I had the advertised T-1 speed of the cable modem. I

For those in Todds predicament, I have a solution that worked great for
me:
I work upstairs, and have generally taken over two rooms for my office
and computer room. In the computer room are 6 servers of different
flavours and ages, the old ones generate a lot of heat. Pretty much

We bought the 5-disk Sony when it first came out, now the same model
is about 1/2 the price, but still very good. We've been very happy
with it.
One thing to look for (perhaps) is the ability to place VCD and SVCD
disks. These disks are easy to burn, great for home movies etc, and
obviously will
The best way to deal with memory leaks with Studio is to buy RAM, Lotso
RAM, 512mb, preferably 1Gb, then reboot once a day. Cheapest solution
that I found. I've been burnt way too many times with studio m'self.

Hey all. First of all this is mostly not CF related, but perhaps a bit
since CF/Web pieces may place a part.
I'm running into a situation where I have a VB program that is currently
using M$Access97 sort of things. A couple of times now the database
has eaten itself, which is not a good thing, e
