Vista overall is totally non-intuitive to me. It too me 10 minutes to
even figure out the file explorer and I still don't really know. I
think it bites major ass. If off2007 is built on the same principles
as Vista

I guess, though, that I just don't see a benefit to the the upgrade, and
certainly not one to justify that type of struggle. I don't want styles to
automatically "correct" my outline. I don't want

I agree about the dual boot option. As for the directsound issue, I
can see some technological reasons for doing this (including setting
the volume for individual apps) , but the overwhelming feeling I get
is that it's for DRM issues.

Office 2007 makes it easy peasy.

The maximum 'Experience' is about 5.6 currently. Nothing is a 10.
The DirectSound issue sucks, and creative have been veeery slow in
creating a driver to get around it. I think they released a beta
version of one recently.
Best thing for Vista now, if someone really wants to install it, is to

thanks for posting. This is approximately my opinion of Office 2007. Was trying

only gave it 24 hours and that wasn't a heck of a lot of time, but it
just seems so stifling to me. I wasn't happy about the DirectSound
thing, I wasn't happy about my pc registering 3.6 out of 10 points for
a "vista experience".
