I think a more accurate way to classify the stack in 3 groups would be:
(Development) Tools (IDEs, server-side developer platforms, design
products/editors)
(Hosted) Services (connect, share, more to come...)
Platforms (PDF, Flash)
in answer to the original question - I wouldn't refer to it as a
Sort of. I think of Adobe's product set as consisting of three parts:
1. Developer/Designer Tools
- CS3
- FlexBuilder
- etc.
2. Client and server products (but not client-server products in the
traditional meaning of that term)C
- LiveCycle
- JRun
- ColdFusion
- Flash Player
yes, its meaningful.
and it makes clear sense what it is.

Meaningful: yes
Applicable: not so much
A product stack is a set of products that build on top of eachother. I would
say that most of Adobe products operate next too eachother and are more a suite
then a stack.
