Heh, branching the thread... If you want to play with BBSes but don't want to dial-up, there are a number of Telnet based boards around http://www.telnetbbsguide.com/ Also, if you want to run them, there are COM -> Telnet emulators or you can run something like SynchroNet http://www.synchro.net
