It's obvious that it is a text file from the post, of course I realise that files can be binary and the new cfloop functionality wouldn't work for them - no need to point out anything that obvious! On 13/06/07, Andrew Scott <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Its more of an FYI, and just an FYI to you

Its more of an FYI, and just an FYI to you he said he can see it because it changed the extension. Now if it is Windows Metafile then it is pure text, but might not be the case if its an eclipse EMF file. So before telling me its a text file, do not assume that it is a Windows Metafile:-) Bad Wa

I'm sure I read somewhere that CF8 can read files line by line without having to load them completely, only useful if you're planning to upgrade though. On 13/06/07, Dinner <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > I think java is the standard answer to questions like these. It's a > little > more direct-er

I think java is the standard answer to questions like these. It's a little more direct-er than CF. I can point you in the right direction if you want more info. For a small fee. Mu-ahahahaha. On 6/12/07, Dan Munez wrote: > > hey guys, any of you ever worked with EMF files? I was wonderin if t

hey guys, any of you ever worked with EMF files? I was wonderin if there was a way to extract header data from them. I took a 3MB file and renamed it into a TXT. when I opened it up I saw all the info I wanted to extract! But won't it be CPU intensive to have something open up a 3MB txt file
