Just for comparison, here in the UK unleaded standard (premium is even more) is averaging at about $6.86 a gallon after conversion to USD!!! $4.95 of that works out as tax which is broken down into duty and VAT (sales tax). Paul ~~~

Marathon station had gas at 2.34 for regular, while the Speedway, Shell and BP stations were around 2.00 a gallon. Pretty interesting, I've heard some people on this list comment that the chains are the ones that keep the gas price higher, I'm not so sure about that here. > -
