Don't worry - I will be Flickr feeding everything I can. Does the
great firewall of China effect HK? I don't think it does.

Beyond all the stuff Erika said, I would splurge and stay here at
least one night:

albeit virtual ones.
As for sights ... you GOTTA go see the Kowloon Walled city Park and take
pictures for me. You just gotta!
And Hong Kong Island! I want to go there some day too. Then you need to see
Victoria

I moved here a month ago with plans to start a offshore CF shop and
haven't had much luck in finding talent. Guess I'm going to have to
train some Java peeps to do CF. I'm actually in China at the moment.
What a wild ride this is.
If anyone on this list is interested in offshoring CF work, please
well i am Not.
we could have every one who is Not there respond...

but no response seemed easier..
so how is it?
are you a local there or from US on contract?
seems like a neat place to visit.

Hi Simon:
I appreciate the offer. Altho I don't really have any specific questions, was just looking for some general feedback on what a trip to Hong Kong might be like...I guess I am curious about the accomodations...

you that they love it so much that they left Washington DC to move back
there. I could ask some questions if you'd like?

I've never been there, but I've been looking at going. I can't recall the
specifics, but Hong Kong is one of the richest cities in the world, and is
apparently home to not only more millionaires but billionaires than anywhere
else.

there's a deal floating around at the moment (http://www.virgin-vacations.com/HK_FGAB.ASP) for 6 nights accomodations in Hong Kong, *including* R/T airfare for $599pp.
The wife and I are thinking about doing it. Lord knows we could use a vacation...the price seems right...and I'm
I guess I should take back what I said about the suspect abilities of most of our
ambassadors...
