Maybe most Americans, but I am thinking of gamers. I don't think their
memory is as short as you believe.
As mentioned above, the bigger issue is price. With the PS4 coming
out

My next console will be the PS3 when it drops in price a few more times. I
lot of exclusives that I haven't had the opportunity to play.

I understand them wanting to go digital with everything (like MP3s from
CDs) and with that does come complications. You wouldn't want people to
install a game freely and countless. And if I loan someone a disc, they and
I can't play it at the same time. So I can see the need of some kind of
