We run a fan on low in our bedroom at night -
helps cool, seems less stale with air moving,
don't need the a/c on as high,
lot less energy consumption for the fan.

Here is a fun fact about having no air conditioning: I was thawing some
ground beef for dinner tomorrow. I took about two pounds out around 8:00. It
is now 10:20 and the meat looks as though it has completely defrosted. There
