Also, REM has a new album out (they were on NPR this morning talking

I saw John Doe perform a solo gig opening for Neko Case in 2003 - also
an excellent show and at a fairly small venue, so I was right up in

I haven't listened to X in like, maybe, a month.
I remember being surprised one day while in the ticket line at the Agora
Ballroom (Hartford). He was sitting at the ticket table, taking tickets and
stamping hands (with the uv ink).
And
Funny, I just went to see X on Friday. Definitely old, but definitely
rocked it. They haven't really put out new music as a band, though.
