With ferrets its even worse. The Humane Society of America estimated
in a study a few years back that ferrets last an average of a week in
the wild. PETA is in essence bad marketing turned even worse.

Yep, PETA quit being about the "ethical treatment of animals" years ago. They are terrorrists, hiding behind a decent cause.
ALF is even worse than PETA, smaller, but even more extreme.
I also can't help but picture all ALF and PETA members just like Brad Pitt's character in 12 Monkeys.
