I've done something very similar to what you are wanting to do.
All you need to do is set up a DSN on Host 2 that points to the Host 1
database. The only trick to this is that you CAN'T use the CF Administrator
to set up this DSN. You must use the Window's Control Panel "Data Sources
(ODBC)" Man
Where is the SQL Server installed?
It sounds like you just need to create a new SQL Server datasource on
host 2.
