Jocelyn is my ex-wife's (and best friend) name. A lovely name indeed.
For us, girl names were a lot easier to decide on than boy names. For
girl names, we had a couple of principles: We wanted something

We took the "family route" and chose the middle names of a grandparent
and a great grandparent. Our daughter is Elizabeth (my mother's

in San Jose, the kid would have been called The Tank,
then he would have had to change it to Compaq Center.
Now I guess the kid would have to go by H. P. Pavillion

Here's one for you hockey fans and/or for expectant
parents:
According to CBS radio today, a couple in Detroit, the
Arena family, just had their second child, a boy.
They named the son Joe Louis Arena, which happens to be
the name of the venue where the NHL team plays.
