That's what I ended up using. I have to say that I like fireworks a lot. It
has a lot of features that mystify me as a programmer, but my subconscious
must have known what to do. It worked. :)

illustrator is the best thing
Believe it or not, I created the whole Community Suite Supporter button last
night in a fevered haze of design (literally). How I don't know, but it
worked.
