Shock collars are fine. I've shocked myself before with my Rottweiler's collar. It isn't fun but it isn't especially painful. Dog trainers will tell you that shock collars are effective are perfectly humane. I don't know about giving the clicker to a neighbor, though. Too much potential for bad blo
