There are indeed bark collars that will shock the dog when they bark. Generally
I suggest people start with a citronella collar that just sprays the dog with
citronella when they bark, a bit more hu

Shock collars are fine. I've shocked myself before with my Rottweiler's
collar. It isn't fun but it isn't especially painful. Dog trainers will tell
you that shock collars are effective are perfectly humane. I don't know
about giving the clicker to a neighbor, though. Too much potential for bad

The strange thing is that we were *very* careful when she was a puppy
about changing our leaving the house routine, not making a big show of
leaving or coming home, etc. I guess maybe we've lapsed a little on that
front. Thankfully, little B doesn't chew anything
