I need to find my bread pudding recipe. It is in one of my Katrina boxes. The
key to this one is real stale, crusty bread, craisins and a touch of good rum
or whiskey.

I always like to do my totally trite, but totally yummy goat
cheese/pesto/sun-dried tomato thingy at xmas. Layer the three things
in a small container lined with plastic wrap. Chill, pop out and serve
with crackers. Easy and it's white, green and red!

I love cranberry jello :D
Just like all the bits better ... And there's something intensely
satisfying about homemade cranberry sauce.

This sounds marvelous!!! I need to try it.
I made pumpkin pie and apple pie from scratch this year, crust and
everything. Used a fresh whole pumpkin as well, not canned. I'll have to
type up the recipe later. Turned out great. Used Granny Smiths for the
pie. Yum. I think there's still a slice left

My best party recipe at the moment:
Bite sized stuffed shrimp:
Take medium (or large) raw shrimp tail on. Make sure they are deveined.
Butterfly the top curve of the shrimp (cut it about 3/4 of the way
through along the back "spine"). spread this open slit out against a
cooking sheet with tinfoi

Go to foodnetwork.com and look up Paula Dean's gooey butter cake.
It's the most unhealthy thing you can put in our mouth but one of the
best tasting.
We tried the peanut butter and pumpkin variations last year for Xmas
and Thanksgiving they both were great!

My grandmother used to make an excellent frozen chocolate pie. I don't have
the recipe on hand, but we made it for Thanksgiving this year and it was
outstanding. I'll see if I can dig it up.
