LOL! Congrats! It's amazing we all had almost the same reaction the first
day we got "new eyes". I got mine in 3rd grade too ... trees were

I got my first glasses in 3rd grade, iirc.
On the drive home from the eye doctor, with my new glasses, I saw the green
highway signs, and that they had town names and distances.
I had just always thought my parents were really smart, and knew everything.
