Here are the three novels in the second foundation trilogy:
Foundation's Fear by Gregory Benford
Foundation and Chaos by Geg Bear
Foundation's Triumph by David Brin.
While I'm not so much of a fan of the first two, I have most of Brin's
books. His first Uplift War trilogy is very good.

I just want to point out (since I've read them more recently) that I,
Robot was a collection of shorts, mostly about Susan the Robot
Psychologist. The robot murder mysteries were Caves of Steel, The Naked
Sun, and Robots of Dawn. Those three are the Lije Bailey novels
mentioned earlier.

Yes it was worse than the first Krull movie. And that's saying
something. Its one of those films that I characterize as it was so bad
it sucked dead budgies. It was sooo bad it sucked canal water.
I never understood how or why Asimov let the film rights go to the producers.

Yes that was my impression. But I'll remain optimistic until I see it.
I just hope that it isn't such an atrocity as was Nightfall.

From what I understand it is very close to several stories, but more
of a pastiche, and akin to the Robot novels with Lij Bailey. The movie
apparently does use Asimov's 3 Laws of Robotics however, so it should
be an interesting take on things.

No, I did not even know they had made a movie from that short story (or
was it a novella) it has been a
2am. at least you missed the rush hour traffic. ;) With that little
sleep, I'd have been a walking zombie for the next day or so.
As for AI, the problem was that Spielburg was trying to finish a
Stanley Kubrick film. If not anything else, Kubrick is abstract.

I didn't know about I, Robot or the Bourne Supremacy until I rode the

Hey Hatton,
I see you survived your drive back to the wilds of New York.
It does look like a good movie, but given the movie industry's record
of butchering Asimov's stories (anyone remember that atrocity called
Nightfall?), I'm going to remain skeptical.
