I'm going in hospital next Wednesday for angioplasty to unblock an artery,
so if I disappear for a while, that's where I'll be.
Fingers, toes and puppy tails crossed for your angioplasty to fix your
problem, be painless and for you to be able to tolerate lying down for 6
hours.
Maureen, you might not want to read this...

No kidding -

My dad said this was the absolute worst part of the test.

actually, the worst part was what I didn't say before -

dropped in a match, then said don't move.
sorry

Third time's the charm maybe
contrast dye - iodine-based solution injected to make
tissues show up better on the x-ray.
sigh

but think of the bright side:
how many people get to be a Bag Lady and then give it

Best of luck, I'll be thinking 'bout ya...

I will pray for you. Hope everything goes well and you regain strength
quickly. My mother had a triple by pass and was down for a while but
regained strength very quickly.

I'll be in the cardiac wing at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, hopefully just
overnight. I won't have access to the computer but spousal unit will be
printing out email and e-cards. Not sure if they let cards and stuff into
the cardiac wing.
