We got maybe an inch of rain a couple of days ago. There were about 400
accidents on the freeways in the county. Fortunately that's about 10% of our
annual rainfall total, so we don't have too many of those days to look
forward to.

well we're the other side of that storm and the final result was five
to seven inches in the mountains and about an eighth of an inch in
town probably more in Santa Fe

We got an inch of freezing rain yesterday afternoon. Then an inch of sleet
last night. This afternoon, we are supposed to get close to a foot of snow
on top of it.
I left work a few hours early yesterday when it was getting nasty...will do
the same today. I love winter. Dog and I are gonna have so

Time, like anything else, it simply subject to the laws of our universe.
If you've created a completely new universe, there is no reason why all such
laws couldn't be different.

Well time is not an absolute dimension in this universe. For example,
time slows as velocity increases and stops in black holes.

now if only I could get my transporter working --- int's snowing here
and it's not a town that's used to snow.

I would assume so. The main hurdle here seems to be the creation of an
artificial--and controllable-- black hole...

That is an interesting q
I thought that would be the name of the new planet.

well why would time not exist there? I would imagine (not having
looked at the link yet mind you) that physical laws would depend on
certain variables you set at creation.

I'm completely intrigued by this.
